🍁 Ode of a Leaf 🍁

Alas.. I cannot hold on anymore.. the heat has passed.. I feel weak and tired.. to my core.

I was as green as a blade of the finest.. now it is as though.. I am as parched.. as the land drought driest.

All has changed.. as the grip is now so poor.. I must fall from grace.. and the floor embrace.

I cry for I feel so sore.. falling away from the love.. who once me bore.. I feel sad for life is no more.
